Beloved father to Vicki (Michael) Andrew, Steven Doubek, Karen Doubek (Ronald Gleichner, Laura (Michael) Ahmad. Very loved grandfather to Erin, Meg and Sergei Andrew, Alexander and Andrew (Drew) Doubek and Mitchell Ahmad. Dick graduated from Washington High School and Marquette University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He went on to have a distinguished career at Allis Chalmers and finally retired at the age of 75. Always a hard worker and dedicated family man, he traveled the world for his job and enjoyed many diverse cultural experiences. He was a lifelong faithful Lutheran and volunteer for many years at Sherman Park Lutheran Church and then later joined Mount Carmel Lutheran Church with his children.

He enjoyed fishing and camping throughout Wisconsin. We had many memorable family trips to the Hayward area. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, card playing and listening to the Brewers on his radio. Dick was a great cook, always trying new recipes out on his family. He had a tremendous sense of humor and could always make people laugh with his quick wit. He Blessed all he knew with Joy and Laughter and will be missed by all.

A Celebration of Dick’s life will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Mount Carmel Lutheran Church. 8424 W. Center Street, Milwaukee. Visitation from 10AM until the time of the service at 11:15.
