1928 - 2017

Of Waukesha, died on Friday, June 9, 2017 at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 88. Don was a charter member of St. William Catholic Church and worked at Allis Chalmers and Quad Graphics.

He will be missed by his children, Garry (Constance) Muench, Mary Hartling, Paula (Wayne) Evert and Thomas (Jean) Muench; grandchildren, Heather (Peter) Latona, Cary (Ryan) Wik, John (Rachel), and Ryan Hartling, Dylan, Laurren and Andy Muench and Danielle Evert; great grandchildren, Jacob and Joe Latona, Payeton, Lyle, and Vivienne Wik, and Kahlen Hartling; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bea Muench (nee Truchinski); his parents, Leo and Margaret Muench; his son, John; brothers, Joe, Edgar, and Bob; sisters, Margaret Wagner, Leona Nelson, Katherine Kirkish, and Dolores Dorn; and son-in-law, Mike Hartling.

A funeral mass for Don will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 12:00 p.m., at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. Visitation will take place on Thursday, June 15 at the church from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. A Private entombment will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Waukesha.
