Pfoertsch, Sr., Dick E. Dick E. Pfoertsch Sr., 87, passed peacefully February 1, at home with his wife, Dolores "Mitzi" (Schmitz) Pfoertsch, by his side after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Mitzi; daughter Jill North and husband, David; sister Jane Kunde; granddaughters Lauren, Kelly and Tessa; and many close friends. He is preceded in death by his son, Dick Jr. Born to Roland and Edna Pfoertsch, Dick was a lifelong resident of Milwaukee where he was an Eagle Scout and worked as an electrical contractor. Dick's life passion was sailing, he was a lifetime member of the South Shore Yacht Club. When not at the helm, he enjoyed curling. Dick was a Free Mason and Past Master at Elmbrook Lodge. A celebration of life will be held at South Shore Yacht Club, 2300 E Nock St, on Saturday, February 18 from 2-5PM with Masonic Service and eulogy at 2PM.
