School Story:
Exciting were the football games attended. The year Washington High School Football team became city champion was a real highlight.
The first choral presentation by the Acapella choir that I witnessed, directed by dear Mr. Smith, was truly inspirational. Not being solo trained or anywhere near that accomplishment, I registered for one semester of chorus so that I'd be accepted into the big choir without having to audition.
I found school assemblies interesting. I joined the Alphanea Forensics Club and admired the talented oratory of fellow classmates.
