Klotz, Charles E. Age 87, passed away on September 4, 2014, in Downers Grove, IL. He was the loving husband of Ellen (Schultz) Klotz; father of Eric, Karl, and Ann; son of Charles and Margaret; a grandfather and great-grandfather. Charles served honorably in the U.S. Navy during WWII, graduated as a Chemical Engineer from the University of Wisconsin, completed post-graduate at the Oak Ridge School of Reactor Technology, and had a successful career in the nuclear age as an experienced engineer, authored papers related to nuclear energy and technologies, and held patents in fast reactor core design and fuel systems.
