Moebius, Marvin M. Passed away peacefully Friday, December 11, 2009, Age 86. Beloved husband of Elaine (nee Zimmerman) for 63 years. Dear father of Cheryl (Jeffrey) Rohrer and Jeffrey (Kathleen) Moebius. Loving grandfather of Scott and Dean Moebius. Also loved by 3 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Visitation at CROSS OF LIFE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 20700 W. North Ave., Thursday, December 17, 4-6:45 PM. Funeral Service 7 PM. Burial Wisconsin Memorial. Marv was born September 11, 1923 in Milwaukee. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army in England, France and Germany earning four Battle Stars as a Sergeant. He served near the war's end at the Nuremberg War Trials. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, he joined the W.D. Ehrke Co. as a Vice President until retirement. Marv was a member of Cross of Life where he served as a Worship Assistant and Reader. He was a dedicated woodworker and fashioned many "great" items. Memorials to the church appreciated.
