In Celebration of the First Hundred Years:
Please accept my recollections with a donation ($25) to the WHS Scholarship Alumni Foundation. Our class of February 1942 graduated a few weeks afer Pearl Harbor and into a world of war. We were all 18 and our world was changed forever.
We were graduated from Washington High School with pride. Principal George Balzer administrated the school with an iron hand and with high expectatios of all of us. We were disciplined, orderly, respectful and educated.
I want to help restore that legacy and perpetuate our long-ago pride.
