Ruth Schaefer

Age 102 years. Passed away on Feb. 3, 2022. Born Dec. 28, 1919, in Milwaukee to Emil and Martha (nee Haak) Lorenz. Wife of 47 years of the late Harry Schaefer. Dear mother of Linda (Roy) Durrenberg and Ron Schaefer. Loving grandma of Michael Durrenberg. In addition to her parents and husband, preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Duras and "Wally" Brant. Proud graduate of Girls Tech High School. Ruth was an avid lover of animals. Visitation on Wed., Feb. 9, 2022, from 4 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 6 p.m. at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 10121 W. North Ave., Wauwatosa. Private entombment at Wisconsin Memorial Park. The family requests attendees to please wear masks.
